Joining the volunteer fire service was the best decision I've made in my life. During my time as a volunteer firefighter I've helped countless people during their time in need. I met a lot of great people, many of whom are now close personal friends. The hours of training I put in helped me face many situations in both my professional and personal life.

I found Obstacle Course Racing (OCR) in October 2012. Since then I've completed over 50 total events. In addition to the physical challenges during the race there were many mental challenges along the course. OCR has helped me stay healthy both physically and mentally.

I've always been a hockey fan since I was a child. I was never coordinated enough to ice skate and play hockey at the same time. Ball Hockey is hockey, without skates or the ice. I started playing in April 2009 and I've probably played close to 1,000 games since. This taught me how to organize a caliber winning team that respected the playing abilities of teammates, competitors, and officials.
- Captain of 4 straight championship seasons
- 4x Zerr Cup Champion at the Upper Main Line YMCA Hockey League
- Played in the North American Ball Hockey Tournament
- 19x Champion across 4 local leagues
